Here's a photo of the lead typesetting for the back of the Zion Laser Strike Masturlord cd. The photo is from the angle that you set the type at: upside down and backwards. That's because the letters on the lead type is backwards, and when you put them in order it helps to look at it upside down. You still put the letters in left to right though. You have to put spacers in to fill up the blank space in the lines, because the whole thing gets clamped together on the press and it has to be tight. This was a hard one to do because there was a lot of information to fit in a 5"x5" space, and took a long time to do. In the end I'm very pleased with how it turned out. Tomorrow I'm bringing home the prints and will scan and post them for you to see!

ReplyDeleteSorry man it's too late, I already printed all 100 of them. If we end up doing a second printing I can add it. I'll bet they'll end up selling all 100, so a second printing would be likely.
